The suggestion to have your razors professionally honed has been taken. I sent a couple to gssixgun What an amazing job. They were both supposed to be shave ready when bought but after they were honed professionally what a difference.

The G-Man can put an edge on !!!! Just be careful stropping and dont use any pressure on the blade while stropping. Think of stropping like waxing the hood of your car, when your removing the wax you dont push down on the hood cuz you will dent it , You remove the wax by many back and forth light buffing action with the cloth, and stropping is just that, buffing that edge with light strokes. At least 75 strokes. Take a look at the stropping vids

A properly honed razor can make all the difference in the world and Glen can hone.
What is amazing is that he can do it in less time than I can while eating sushi, drinking a beer, giving instructions and talking with authority the entire time. If you ever get a chance to meet the man take the time and pay attention. I have spent three days with him and emailed/pm'd countless times and he still has a lot to teach me.
