Thread: A day at Joe and Carrie's

I spent most of Saturday at Joe and Carries' place in tropical Williamson, NY. it's such a stinkin' pleasure to get together with other "enthusiasts" that I end up just hating to leave. Joe and Carrie are old-fashioned, y'all-come-back-now hosts who work hard to make their guests feel at home and comfortable; I enjoy every minute.

Noobs -- if you get a chance to get together with other razor-minded folks -- jump at it. You're going to meet people who care about your success in the world of razors and shaving, and maybe more importantly, people who are open and friendly in general. You'll learn more in half a day than you can on your own in months.

So, I have another enjoyable day to thank Joe and Carrie for ... not to mention that Joe made a set of scales for me and pinned my razor in for me while I watched. Nathan the Batmang and Ed the Quicknicker were there too -- more brains for me to pick.

Man, wish I could have been there-- Joe and Karen are wonderful hosts... I have a hard time thinking of people I enjoy as much as them! Hope you all took pictures!

I can definitely vouch for what Stimpy's saying here. I just went to a meet-up in Toronto yesterday and I have to say, the members there were helpful, informative and even fun. They are all as enthusiastic as I am, or even more, about straight shaving, which is a pleasant change from the weird looks and the eyerolling from SWMBO

Thank you Stimpy and Benjamin. Carrie, Jr. and I always enjoy seeing both of you and yo are welcome back any time. We always learn new things every time we meet with SRP people and we enjoy sharing what we learned from SRP and our meets with anyone interested. As always, we look forward to our next get together.
