Thumbs up Hello from New Hampshire

Hello to all. This seems to be a wonderful site.

Began shaving with a DE as a teenager, lost my way somewhere along the line and used carts for years. Began wet shaving a few years ago and have gradually begun learning to use straights. I still take a bit of time shaving with a straight but find I love it although I occasionally use the DE's when time is tight. Hope to learn a lot here from all of you.

It's snowing at this moment so warm lather seems a luxury.

Hi Windwriter, and welcome to SRP.

You're right about this being a wonderful site. It's been very helpful to me. Be sure to check out the wikipedia and the database; those are great resources. You're bound to find knowledgeable members with great information for you, too.

As for warm lather being a luxury, I have myself a scuttle on the way. I can't wait for it to get here.

Yes, Servant. Have you watched Julie's video? Pretty cool. I opted for the cross-hatch pattern. I figure that will help even more with lathering.
