How did I do, and should I buy this one too?
I won this mad puppy for $12 shipped on MEbay:

wondering how much this one is worth including shipping (is it worth $20 shipped?):
It looks like it has a concave blade instead of convex. Is that bad/good/ok?
It was made in Solingen Germany
It says 'lightwerk' and 'black velvet' on itLast edited by icecow; 09-26-2006 at 09:19 AM.

The first one is not bad but not spectacular either. Should be an ok run of the mill shaver. You should give it a bit of a polish.
As for the second one, I don't trust the pic, but in any case, I'd put it in the $12 shipped range. I got better for less.

Thanked: 2209The Geneva is just fine. The other one bothers me because of the pic. It suggests that there is to much hone wear on it.
Wait for one with a better pic.
BTW, all straight razors have a concave grind except very, very
old ones.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin
