Thread: First stright shave

After a four year B.S. in DE shaving, I have purchased a Dovo Best full hollow from vintage blades.

My fist shave has been whithout blood and the only thing I managed to nick was the leather on my strop. The shave it's self has not too bad. The face is not BBS but it looks clean. Unfortuntly some neck folicles would not allow themselves to be shaved.

Will I indulge in this madness again...yes.

I think my first straight shaves were like that... took me 7 months to get everything and after a year...still learning more and more...even the basics....keep up the work and patience
