    Smile Finally....my first BBS shave!

    So I am so excited I had to make a new post about this.....yesterday was by far the best shave I've ever had since starting using a straight. This past July I found out about straight razor shaving, and I began shaving with the stuff early August. I spent about $75 and picked up a razor from someone here on the forum, and got everything else from Larry. Admittedly, I only shave about 2x per week (the advantage of youth, lol) but it has taken me this long to get a real nice shave. I still missed a small section of hair beneath my chin, but hey, everywhere else is good!

    Ironically, and I'm not sure if this is bigger than just my school, but every November has become "No-Shave November" for a lot of my friends.....they go the entire month without shaving.

    They obliviously don't know what they're missing!

    Congratulations! Guess what...it only gets better. Then you start experimenting with different soaps, brushes, razors, aftershaves...get the point? Shave on...

    Awesome. I find that, after the first month, I am starting to appreciate this art more and more. I am also over the beginners foibles with technique, so my confidence is improving. Congrats on getting a great shave!

    Way to go! Its only gets better and more efficient. Then there is the pleasure of trying out all the great choices that go into a great straight shave.
