Hey Guys,
I’m new here although I have been lurking and reading (most of the forum) to educate myself in the various nuances of straight shaving. I haven’t posted because I have been able to search and find everything I needed, but this valuable resource and the willingness of this community has left me obligated to say Hi.
I started out with a TI purchased through Classic Shaving and honed by Lynn as a guide for sharpness. A month of straight shaving has me regretting I did not discover this long ago, shaving is now a joy! I am to the point in my honing where most of my 15 razors are HHT sharp and I am fine tuning via the shave.
The only down side is this acquisition disorder thing, (if it were drugs I’d be dead) I find myself waiting for the mailman A LOT….I have also purchased Bill’s CD and plan on building some scales this winter, already ordering material.
Anyhow, thanks again.

Welcome aboard Miles. You need to curb your RAD so there are going to be more razors out there on the market for the rest of us

Welcome to the club, Miles. Don't worry about the RAD, or the RSA either. It is easily controled...the first step to curing a problem is to admit you have a...BRB, the mailman is coming down the street...

But why are you calling it a "problem"?

Thanks for the welcome.
Sometime in the future I may make a feeble attempt to deal with the disorder, but not today!
