    Does k = G * D ? Resulting in homebuilts?
    Where
    k(Jimbos constant)
    G(shop time + tool availability)
    D(desire)

I think that might be part of it, but there are other components to it I am sure. There is conjecture in academic circles that Jimbo's Constant is not even rational - it is irrational like Pi or e or the Golden Ratio. Some have even suggested that the first 200 digits of Jimbo's Constant were discovered by the Templar Knights engraved on the lid of the Ark of the Covenant and it was this secret that they defended to the last. Egyptologists have found reference to the constant as the basis for an early dewey decimal system in the great Library of Alexandria, and researchers into South American archaeology have suggested that the mysterious disappearance of the Mayan Civilisation is linked to Jimbo's Constant.

All I know is that it's a bit tricky to work out, but I have found a wonderful and simple proof of its value. Unfortunately there is not enough room in the margin of this post to write it all down....

Good to see the art of Bulls**t is still alive and well in Australia James, albeit, of a more technical nature.

James, it is apparent that Jimbo's Constant is a Complex Number as it has a large imaginary component.

Been at it 10 months. I have 5 shave ready razors and two waiting to be polished by me and sent to be honed. Then I'll have my goal of of my own hand picked seven day set with a couple different sizes and grinds.

I would like to get to a point where I can snag a razor here and there, hone it, shave with it and see if it deserves to replace any in my seven day set. Then sell the odd man out to you poor helpless addicts, I mean nice people lol. As sweet as having a bagillion razors would be, I have no desire to collect and store that many. I do like to look at other guys collections though!

dewey81 has the same idea as I do, though I've added a DE to the mix. I believe I need a max of 7 (incl the DE); however I've decided to generally not shave on weekends, or only Saturdays (DE) day. I like the idea of replacing a razor in the mix with another that is 'more deserving'. I currently have 4 shave ready razors, plus one waiting to see what I'll do with it (I think I'll need help to refurbish it - this is the one I'll use for the Norton 4/8 challenge) and one that is waiting at the Revisor site to be adopted.

Unfortunately it appears I need to bribe my SWMBO in some unknown manner before the adoption can proceed...
