Thanked: 1936If you have been shaving for three weeks on a daily basis, the razor could need to be rehoned. I say this because things should be starting to come together for you. Please explain your straight razor maintenance before and after the shave.
We can't give you an actual "direction" of a wtg pass as each and every one of us have different hair growth directions. I too suffer from razor burn in the warmer months, but always have. I personally use an alum block after the shave, followed by an alcohol based aftershave.
Where are you from? You should check http://straightrazorpalace.com/vbgooglemapme.php and find a veteran shaver within driving distance to you. A FTF meeting with someone would help you tremendously. If you are anywhere near SE Oklahoma or NE Texas, PM me and I'd be glad to help you out.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott
