While I understand how it is appealing to find someone local do understand that there is honing and then there is honing. I'm not discrediting anyone that has/may reply to this thread but not everyone can achieve the same results. Your mail box is probably closest to you.

When you obtain more razors I suggest sending one of each them to several different experianced people to see the difference. Then again, you may want to learn for yourself. There is a difference in edge quality between different people's style of honing. In the end, you are the judge of the results.
