Might sound a little personal...
I have a fairly large adam's apple and it's a pain to shave over and around. Does anyone else have a similar problem? I try to swallow and hold it up to quickly make a pass over it but it's not that comfortable or effective.

I don't have that problem but I do remember a member posting that the swallowing trick was the best way around it. Maybe a matter of timing ? Not sure.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Pulling the skin to the left or right seems to do the trick for me. I agree, swallowing and holding is difficult at best.

Same here.. What works best for me as well is trying to pull the skin to the sides so I don't have to shave over the top of the apple, the most sensitive part for me.

Try pulling the skin away from the adams apple in different directions.

Thanked: 11+1 to pulling to the side. I can't do the point of my Adam's apple without it. I'm sure if I tried I'd lop the point off.

I've always pulled the skin to one side, then the other. Sadly, it's getting easier these days because there is plenty of slack.

That is what I have been trying to do but being new my angles low on my neck are still awkward so I will build on it. Thanks for the advice everyone!
