You've made a good choice in shaving method and vendor. Feathers are too harsh for my tastes and in any case don't give the satisfaction of maintaining your own toys. Ofcourse, shopping at Tony's is always a positive experience, so you've won on that count as well.

thanks for the encouragement. I should mention that I ordered the stropping paddle rather than the belt. Based on my discussion with Tony, I felt that was the way to go at this time.
BTW--I notice you're in Etobicoke. Home is Orillia.

I've been there a few times. Got friends in Sudbury and North Bay and I go camping in Algonquin, so Orillia is sort of on the way. So how come you moved south of the border?
