Hey Glen, thanks for the post and all the help you give to all us noobs. I'm sure that answering all the same questions over and over again can get a bit tedious, but we do appreciate it. I do get, and give, the humor. Forgive some of the noobs that don't, we all don't get butt hurt over the small stuff. I for one can take it, and make fun of myself. I am a noob, and I will do stupid s*%#t now and again, but I have read tons of the seniors stuff, and I do take it to heart. I'm only 5 or 6 full shaves in now. I've only bled once, and yes it was from a stupid noob move. I had a DFS going and I let my angle get a little steep; lesson learned! Anyway, thanks for all the time you all spend educating us. I will continue to read, learn, take my time, and f*%k up now and then, but I will learn from it. Nothing gives me more pleasure than a cold beer and a DFS, remembering to slow down and smell the sandalwood! Thanks again!

hi Glen , a newbie here read some of your post here. and have to say i'm glad i found this site. thought it was a site that sells straight razors tell i started to read. got some good advice on what to get and what not to get. still have a lot to learn. the reason i went to straight razor . is this finding blades for the razor i'm using is getting hard to find Gillette sensor and sooner or later one will have to buy tho's malty blades vibrating crap razors. which i mite add don't shave worth a crap. so here we are. this is the way i see it using a straight razor is an art and a skill. and maybe you tell the story of the tortoise and the hare story slow and steady win the race
