Thanked: 0Bob,
Take a shorter shower!!! Only shower for as long as it takes you to prepare your face. I take my brush in the shower with me and use my normal showering soap to lather up my face. Once I've done that I'm outta there, before the room becomes warmer and steamier than the mirror. Once the room is warm and steamy, the steam WILL condense on your mirror, but you already know that!
Not tried the lather on the mirror trick si I can't testify as to its effectiveness. But I will next time.
There is one more option, albeit a more expensive one. But, knowing that I am going to shave this way for evermore I am going to invest some hard earned candy when I refit my bathroom next year. You can but a HEATED mirror for your bathroom. Much the same as a heated windscreen in a car. Clear glass for your shave guaranteed!!!!
Good luck
Pete

Thanked: 0Go to Scuba.com and get some of the 500psi mask defog (another 'cheap' pasttime, I know...)
Should be good on the mirror for a week or three I'd bet. The stuff only costs a few bucks.
Although, the lather trick is pretty swell, and cheaper...I'm definitely going to try

Thanked: 275I use a rubber squeegee to get the water off my shower walls.
The same squeegee works on the bathroom mirror -- wipes the fog off with two swipes.

Thanked: 485Here in South Australia you can get anti-fog wipes to wipe the inside of your car windows with. I haven't tried it yet, I'll try and get some today and report back, as since it's coming into winter here I have the same problem...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 275Some reviews are here:
Anti-mists Reviews | Anti Fog | Windscreen Cleaner | Glass Cleaner Anti Fog | Car Mirror Cleaner | AutoExpress
I don't know if the top-rated product is available in North America, but you can buy #2 -- "Rain-X Anti-Fog".
