Thread: High Recommendation-The Well Shaved Gentleman

I'm posting this here because as a newbie, I read alot about where to purchase different items from. I thought I'd say this here so that others new to SRP would hopefully benefit from it.

I decided to purchase my first razor and strop from Tony Miller at www.thewellshavedgentleman.com

I PM'd some questions to Tony and found him to be very friendly and helpful. He gave me advice on what type of strop would be best in my particular situation and answered all of my newbie questions expertly.

Ordering from him was great and I was kept informed of my order status including when it was shipped.

I received it yesterday and while I knew I was going to be getting a quality product, I was amazed to see that high quality in person. Everything was beautiful and obviously well made.

I ended up, based on Tony's recommendation, with his 4 sided combination paddle strop pre-pasted on 3 sides. It came with comprehensive instructions on usage, care and maintenance. The pre-honed razor I purchase from him is very good as well.

Tony couldn't have been better! Like so many other vendors on SRP, his professionalism and level of customer care is exemplary. I highly recommend Tony Miller to anyone looking for a strop, hanging or paddle. For that matter, anyone who needs a starter set with everything needed to begin will also be pleased with him for that. I look forward to my first shave using his products.

Glad you like the Dovo too but I can't take credit for it's sharpness, that would be our own EL who honed it to perfection..

Here's another recommendation for Tony.

Just this week I ordered a razor, hanging strop, and paddle strop from Tony, not realizing that he would soon have a special price on the very same products that I bought. Well s, I thought, if I was a bit more patient I could have gotten a better price. But what can one do.

Well today Tony shot me an email (through no prompting of my own) telling me that he'll refund me the difference between my order and the special.

Here's to Tony, a true Gentleman.

Tony's been known to be EXTREMELY honest. When shipping for my strop came out for less than he expected, he kicked me a PP refund right away. Too bad he belongs to a very small minority.

While I can't refund everyone who bought these sets from me in the past, two gentleman had just placed orders for qualifying items which won't be filled until after the special starts so I wanted to extend the special offer to both of them.
