Thanked: 1Celticstone:
You can PM Bill (I assume Ellis) at Urleebird. I don't know about Joe

I'm not sure if Bill offers a honing service (no harm in asking, especially since he has a mean rep) and Joe's username is Joe Chandler. I know he offers one for sure and he got his share of great reviews. If the blade is just dull then they'll hone your blade at standard rates, but if it's chipped you're looking at extra charges. It's only fair as that requires additional work.

If your referring to the Col. Conk 5/8 roundpoint from the other thread you can send it to me and I'll hone it for you. It'll need a lot of work. You can send me a PM if your interested.

Oh no problem, I've seen Joes work. You'll be very happy with it. You can disregard my reply PM then.
Have you considered a strop yet?
Also, if your looking for honing work in the future I can also recommend Lynn Abrahms. He goes by adjustme69. His work is exceptional.Last edited by AFDavis11; 11-05-2006 at 04:11 PM.

Rindleder is not a name, it just means cow's leather.
