Withdrawals/Cannot Shave
Well, I have been at this for over two months now. I am able to get a decent shave most of the time. I think, in part, due to all the great advice found on the forums. Also, I got my hands on a TI razor which makes minced meat out of my whiskers. The TI is my third razor so far. I am looking at some others. Anyway, I went in full blown with rarely a day passing w/o shaving. However, I needed to let my neck heal up some so I am letting my facial hair grow out. I have really coarse and curly hair so I am cursed with getting razor bumps on the bottom of my neck. Also, the hair on the bottom of my neck sort of grows in a swirled pattern. The pattern makes finding a comfortable shave pass difficult. I think a semi-XTG might work the best though time will tell. Anyway, the withdrawals are on. This morning was a drag. I stared lovingly at the TI. I even got it out of the case to clean her up a bit. I even lathered up with my 1752 cream and put some aftershave on. I think I am hooked. It is official.

Thanked: 11I haven't lathered when not shaving but I have put on aftershave. Thought I was the only one.

Thanked: 109My whiskers grow in slowly...so I am constantly appealing to family members and friends to come by for a relaxing shave. They think I am channeling Sweeney Todd.

Hmm, that gives me ideas, not the Sweeney Todd part. I mean I am not into revenge or making meat pies. But I am sure I can find someone to shave.
