Oh you are so done....
Let me introduce you to a few terms you will become all to familiar with
RAD = Razor Acquisition Disorder - The need to have more razors that one man can possibly utilize in a lifetime
HAD = Hone Acquisition disorder - The desire to have every hone ever made for a razor even if the original Norton 4/8k works
SAD = Strop Acquisition Disorder - The need for a srop in every hide type and colour combination
BAD = Brush Acquisition Disorder - A brush for each day of the week and in some extreme cases each day of the month
Add to that Soap and Aftershave...... you are so done

Thanked: 0hahaha thats hilarious! I will most likely be developing every one of those disorders once this hobby flourishes. Seriously will love experimenting with different creams.
Since I have you guys here, might as well not take up space in another thread...
Do you guys suggest buying a handle and hair knot separately from The Golden Nib, or getting a premade one from SRD? If I were to buy a stand, how would I know what size the handle is going to be so I can coordinate with my stand?

Thanked: 11I always laughed at the various women I've known and the mountains of stuff they had in the bathroom and proud of myself for using one small corner of a shelf for everything I used. Not anymore. I've taken over the cabinet and have to keep things in my room - and I've only been at this a couple of months.

We're a bunch of enablers and addicts here. We love to get other people hooked, then we feel better about ourselves and can tell our wives, girlfriends etc., that we are doing a good thing and this hobby is positive. Then we explain that we need more hones so we can understand how to hone so we can teach others. Also we need more razors to practice honing and practice shaving so we can give advice to our brothers here and join in on the conversation.
