thanks Erik.
The thing is... I actually honed the razors again on the cotticule the day before yesterday and had an actual quite good shave with both of them yesterday.
But unfortunately this morning the thiers (I didn't try the Dovo) was pulling again! I have no idea what happened. It could not be messed up with one shave already? Maybe I Strop to fanatic (50 medium strokes on both sides)?
Please help me out
thanks,
michel

I've never hurt my razor stropping unless I did it wrong. I've heard of an overhoned razor...but never an overstropped one.
But You've already contacted me. We'll see what we can do.

Thanked: 0Sounds like overhoning to me...
You've created a very thin cutting edge on the razor, so thin you could shave only once before it litterally broke off or bend over. With stropping it can't be corrected. With honing again (starting with the 4000) it can.
Good luck!

Hi,how are you going, and welcome . Just a short note ,I bet pennies to pounds that you razor is dull,if you get hold of either Bill or Lynn`s CD they have sections on correct honing procedures,I really think it would help you considerably
Kind regards Peter
