Brand new to this

Hey All,

I found this site recently and have been reading all sorts of the articles on razors and use and accessories, etc. Well I've been looking at getting a razor for a few months now and I have recently found one at a antique store for $12. After reading more about razors I know that this is not shave ready and that I need to sand and buff the blade. I'll include a few pictures and I was wondering if anybody can tell me a bit about this model and particularly what the 7 stands for above the dancing twins, all I could find was stuff about the 14's. I am also looking to get it honed, I live in Hawaii over the summer, does anybody know of a place that is near there or a trusty place I could send it to? Also does anybody have a recommended strop for beginners, preferably that I could order from amazon?

I'd be happy to answer anymore questions about the razor. Looking forward to being around these forums.
