Thanked: 443As far as your neck goes, are you getting a good stretch? The best neck stretch I've used was described by another user here, I've forgotten who. His strategy is simple: place your off hand at the base of your neck exactly as if you're going to choke yourself. Choke yourself very gently and lift your chin a little. And there you go, nicely stretched neck skin. It should shave more easily. Keep your pressure light light light, try only to scrape off the lather. If it takes more pressure than that, then the blade isn't properly sharp. Excessive pressure will give you razor burn.
Good luck and best wishes.

Thanked: 0Roughkype- I stretch very well, as I thought that that may be a part of it, but from what I'm hearing, my razor is probably a little sub-par lol. Thank you very much for the input though, I will possibly try changing up how I strech my skin.
Ryan82- Yeah... It is a bit of a mystery lol. I'll try and get some more info on it if I can, but I'm pretty dirt poor, as a 20 year old that just moved out on my own. I'll try my best to get a more well known hone, any suggestions, just for touchup?Last edited by fieldbarren; 05-09-2012 at 01:32 AM.

Try to find a decent barbers hone for touch ups, they are very efficient as well as affordable. Check the classifieds here at SRP or ebay. Do a search here on SRP for barber hones to learn more.
