    Default Experience so far.

Been shaving with my straight razor for a few weeks now. Started off with just shaving my cheeks, like it was recommended. Only got one cut from putting too much pressure when I first made contact with the skin. Hurt quite a bit, but did not bleed that much fortunately. Then I moved onto shaving my neck and chin, got a couple of cuts, none too bad. There was one that did not hurt at all when it happened, but it bled quite a bit. Other than a few nicks here and there, I have been really enjoying straight razor shaving. I actually look forward to shaving now, does not feel like a chore.
The best part is that I am no longer breaking out on my neck after shaving, although this could be a combination of using kiss my face shave cream, splashing cold water on my face afterwards, and using the straight razor. The shaving cream also makes a really nice lather I find. I've used wilkinson shave soap in the blue tub and william's mug shaving soap, the kiss my face by far is the best in my experience.
Shaving with a straight razor has been extremely satisfying and I look forward to when I purchase another blade.

Congrats! This was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to try the straight razor myself, and probably the most improved part of my shave. Glad to hear its working for you too.

Congrats on your progress and enjoyment! Have you stuck with just WTG and XTG or have you introduced ATG yet? Any technical areas on your face/neck that are giving you troubles?
