I've been given an old straight razor. It has Bay State on the blade. It shows made by Bay State Mfg. Company Worcester Mass. It has the no. 1448 on the tang. I'm just trying to find out some of the history and possibly the age of this razor. I intend to put it in a shadow box with a lil of that history at my barber shop. Thank you for any assistance you might be able to give. The handle has no nicks and the blade is perfect except for a little rust in a couple of places....
