Hey guys. So I ordered my strop from Star Shaving Supplies on 6-19. It has been 5 days and I haven't even gotten a shipping conformation, which was supposed to be given. Do you think that there is something on the inside of the company that I dont know about, or something else?

I did order 2 day shipping, so I don't that shipping time is the issue.

Welcome Parker to SRP, without the guys here I would be lost in the ways of the Straight Razor, the force is strong with the members of SRP!

Anyhoo, I recommend that you give Star Shaving Supplies a ring and see about your strop and where it has gotten to, it might be a SNAFU at there end.

+ 1 on calling them. I had a similar situation once (not with said vendor), I paid with PayPal e-check...took 5 days for that stupid e-check to clear! Since then I use regular PayPal or credit card.

Not saying this is the same situation but, if I hadn't called the vendor I would have assumed they dropped the ball when in fact PayPal was just slow paying.

Parker, you've got a lot of people looking out for you here. You'll be just fine.

Yeah, eChecks are slow clearing, esp from one country to another. And then after that I have to wait for (on average) another 9 or 10 days before the thing to arrive from the side of the world that generally has the stuff I want to buy at the right price.

I don't think that's the case, because I paid with a credit card to a company based in Oklahoma. But, ill call anyway just to make sure. Thanks guys!
