120? We've only seen 115 so far this year. Today barely got up to 95.
But, the humidity? Don't even go there!

Parker, when you get your sharpening stuff, keep Dad's tools away from them.
(Well, YOU can sharpen tools, but don't let dad, or any visiting uncles!

I'm excited to see what you're doing here. Keep it up!

He actually got two. What I think happened. NO FREAKING CLUE!!!! He didn't even go over that area more than once. Maybe the current CEO of Gillette sent forced magic to happen so he got two cuts. NO ONE KNOWS!! My dad also took the liberty of showing everyone in my family(Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, ETC.) the video of me shaving..... That was embarrassing.

All the above advice is good, but it seems to me, Parker m'lad, that you're WAY ahead of the game when it comes to manual dexterity as it relates to workmanship. Aged seven using lathe? They STILL scare the excrement out of me and I'm 50!

I'm actually going to go out on a limb and say there's nothing 'wrong' in getting into honing early; I did after about four weeks), and I use a 5kilo door stop to nail nails in the wall to hang up pictures, break every lawnmower I have ever owned, throw printers on the floor to 'fix' them and big note myself for WEEKS if I can hang a cupboard door. Oh, I also recently painted right over top of wallpaper, used Blu Tac to fix holes in walls and painted my floorboards with ceiling white.

The purpose of that long and dismaying list of weirdness is not to serve as a means of communicating to you how much of an idiot I am, but to suggest that if I can hone, then your certainly can!

I may, however, still be an idiot...

Carl
NOPE! That will be all out of my pocket one way or another. UNLESS,,, my dad gets into the art. Then there may be chance that he will split the costs with me. But yeah, after all of the discussion, I will probably go with a Norton 4/8k within 2 weeks of me getting the hang of everything. (Or when my funds support me. Which ever comes first) Probably a 12 or 16k depending on the price point.

Hahah thanks Carl! At that point, I didn't know any better, and just did what I was told Steven, remember the 30_06 that same year on my trip down to AZ? Just did what I was told WOWOWWOWOWOWO did my shoulder hurt afterward... And no Carl you are not an IDIOT!!!!

Anyways thanks!!!!

Parker
