Hello all,

I've just won an ebay sale on an 'as new - unused' razor (http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=230050615633).

I've already got a 1000x/4000x japanese water stone, and am planning on:

-either an 8000x water stone or ceramic stone
-a double sided leather paddle (one side plain, one side for 0.5micron chromium oxide)

So how is my plan shaping up? Having never shaved with such a beast, am I setting myself up for a bloodbath or the smoothest shave of my life?
