Thanked: 0Crown & Sword brand any good?
Looking for my first razor and haven't had luck on the SRP classifieds. Trying ebay. Crown & Sword brand isn't on the list of "good" razors. Does anyone know their quality?
Thanks!Last edited by bphaedrus; 07-08-2012 at 12:54 AM.

Crown & Sword razors are made by ERN, which is a well reputated manufacturer.
I have to this date not met a ERN razor that wasn't a great shaver.
When that is said, I will not recommend to get your first razor from eBay, there are several reasons for this, but the main two is that you don't know what to look for, and if you're lucky and get a decent one, it's most likely not shave ready.Need help or tutoring? Check out the .

Thanked: 0Thanks for the advice.
I would rather buy from SRP classifieds, but have had several sold from under me! I feel like I have no choice! But you are absolutely correct that I don't know what to look for, and can't hone yet. But maybe I'll get lucky!

I have had a couple of those in the stables, they are really good... If the price is right you should snag it... Keeping in mind you just advertised it here to the biggest bunch of razors junkies on the planet.... I am am thinking the price will be competitive now... Find one you like, and hold your cards close to your chest when bidding.. Sleaze bay is like poker, never show your hand... That tip is free from uncle sugar...

Thanked: 1936Zephyr nailed it down perfectly...if you do end up with an ebay razor, plan on spending the extra $ on a pro hone.
