I am also in the San Francisco bay area, as well as the Chico area a lot of weekends. If there was a meet up i would love to get advice, compare blade edges, and make sure I'm up to par.

Northern California is a huge area: Fresno-Redding = 300 miles; SF-Truckee = 175 miles.
Perhaps we could begin in several local areas.
I'm offering to host a meet-up at my place in Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, sometime late in
the summer, early fall.

Hey guys, I just joined and was surprised not to see a northern California group. A get together would be great, I could be available when our season slows down a bit- late August or early September.
