I wouldn't think it would be a problem,... as long as it is in your luggage.. and shaving kit... If you are carrying it in your pocket, or in you carry on, then it becomes an issue.

I think you answered it yourself they're far more worried about guns and drugs than a razor on a plane would be a different story. My solution is buy a cheap golden dollar or similar razor to test it out if they take it you won't lose too much money i think there what $20 bucks then you will know if you can bring your good one next time. Also buy a travel Razor anyway stuff gets lost often on trips
