    Great post Parker,
At first I thought, goodness, this is a post even longer than MY verbose offerings, but it captivated me and I found it a great read, funny too! I really think your idea also has some merit. You young folk don't wanna hang around with us old fogies, 'dissing' your words spelt with numbers and waxing lyrical about the good old days when we were in the army together, tramping around in those Roman sandles with those spears and shields and stuff. Boy those marches across the alps were hard!!

You young hip dudes (and dudettes) should wanna all hang together, after sucking all the knowledge from our old, mushy beer and rye soaked brains and leaving us old farts for dead.

    Have a gr8 day.

(that's not too much sarcasm is it? Is that too much sarcasm?)

    Seriously, Parker great post!

Shooting? Which time? I'm thinking, as your deceased Grandmother used to call them, Redneck Desert Orgy.
(Nothing like that, guys!) Parker's 6 uncles, all the grandkids, 30 or 40 pounds of anything that could
be fried in Peanut oil, a tiny amount of "healthy" food, and NUMEROUS firearms, everything from
a pump pellet (and BB) gun to .45 cal hand cannons. This was WAY out in the desert, outside of Las vegas,
usually during a cooler month. No, no alcohol was involved, mainly because most of the participants don't drink,
and there were firearms present. At the final curtain, the assembled firewood (mostly pallets, "borrowed"from local
establishments) were doused with the remaining fry oil, and the rest consumed in a "pillar of fire."

Oops, forgot the go-cart, that Parker's grandmother (and my mother) loved to take grandkids for rides on.

Ddi I leave anything out, Parker?
