Thread: Filarmonica #11 Corte Cabello

Years ago I tried to SR shave and bought this Filarmonica # 11, for $39.99 (price still on box). I don't remember when, but I did not know about or maybe it didn't exist then Straight Razor Place. So after a very short time I went back to my DE razor, and put the Filarmonica away in the garage.
I now have a dovo and working my way to SR shaving with the help, guidance and support of the members of SRP.
But what can anyone tell me about this razor?

I don't know about beauty. Like I said it has been in my garage for some time. Could use a good polishing and have the scales tightened. But you the experts be the judge. I'm just a rookie beginner.

Very nice! A little TLC and she'll sparkle like the day she rolled out of the factory. Most Filarmonica fans will scour the four corners or the Earth looking for the big blades - 7/8 and the such - but the smaller blades can be just as nice. Be sure to send her out to be pro honed and you'll get a lifetime of service from that Fili.

Okay, I'll give you forty bucks for it.. That way you walk away ahead of the game... No?
