Thanked: 3Looking for some help?
I was given an old razor from my grandmother. she told me it was her grandfather or fathers, she could not remember. the box reads " H.Boker & Co's Unrivaled Razor" on the larger half. on the smaller half is says "trade mark'. The blade of the razor says "H. boker & co, Extra hollow ground, with a tree on each side. on the handle that is dull it reads"h. boker & co germany 201. this is all on the same side of the blade. the other side is blank. the handle is black. i have searched all over the internet and cannot find one like it? anyone know what it is? when it was made? or what it was worth? please if anyone can help I would appreciate it very much! thank you!! Also I am new to this forum and am not sure how to check any replies so if you would like to text me please let me know if that works for you?

As to value we really try to not do that here on SRP, as it is basically a huge waste of time, as an Heirloom I would say "Priceless" to you though, have it honed and enjoy... Boker's are known to have a silky smooth edge when honed up correctly.Last edited by gssixgun; 08-14-2012 at 11:18 PM.

Welcome to SRP. Boker's are nice razors and if you're interested in learning to shave with a straight razor you're off to a good start. Post some pictures when you have some time, we here love pictures. If it needs some TLC there are many members here that could help you out, just check the classifieds and look in "Member Services."

As mentioned the value is really nominal. The true value is in its shave and Bokers are known to shave very well indeed. One of my first blades was a Boker and it was an excellent shaver.
