Usually spending a little bit here and there isn't a big deal for me, but today my wife decided she needed a new car. Good thing I don't have and of the AD's at the moment.

    Shave 11 and 12:

Nothing to really write home about, but I did run the Morley over the pasted strop and it seemed to come back to life. Shave 12 was this morning and it was a good comfortable shave.

I'm kinda impatient and would rather not have to wait for an internet order but may have to order some of the Proraso based on your recommendations.

Hi Matt! It sounds like you are going right on track!
One thing I tell my kids is that patients always pays off. Do yourself a favor and order a refill (less expensive) puck/tub of one of the top performing soaps like Tabac, Cella, Prorazo, even Mikes Natural Soap (MNS) or any other with a good reputation for performance and good value (these I've tried). If you want top of the line (cost doesn't matter), then I would go with; Tabac, Cella, MNS, Castlle Forbes, Jabonman, MWF or MDC, again these I've tried, all much better than Williams or VDH. Your shave would improve tremendously and your face and nose (smell) would like it. You can thank me later! Double O

Thank you for the recommendations Double O. I have 2 creams from The Gentlemen's Quarter, but I don't seem to get along with the creams. I always have a hard time lathering them. I"ve been using some soap that my wife got me from Etsy. They seem to lather well and do ok. Maybe I should take a step up to the big leagues and see how things shake out.

Guys just to update I probaably have close to 20 shaves in now. Things are getting better each time. I'm constantly working on keeping the correct angle and light/no pressure. Most shaves are uniformed and even, also I've avoided nicks/cuts for the most part. Still got a good ways to go. I've reverted back to my DE for my last 2 shaves just for time sake. Work has increased on me and life is always piling stuff on it seems. Thanks again for all those who have provided advice, and I'll try to get back on track here this week if possible.

    Matt
