Default My razor needs a hone, where do I go?

    Hi all,

My straight razor needs to be honed again and I'm not able to do it myself. Where can I get my razor honed? I live in Denver now, but I'm willing to ship it somewhere if need be.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello!

Check out the member services section of the Classifieds - people who hone for others often advertise there and you may be able to find someone close by. Note that the fact that someone advertises in the Classifieds does not mean they are in any way endorsed by SRP. As with anything, a little research can go a long way in helping you determine who the best choices may be.

    James.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I'll start with the classifieds and see if I can find help for less than $20 (all due respect to Lynn Abrams).

I think Glen charges $15 plus postage. I emailed him earlier about a razor of mine that needs some work.

What would be even better is for you to meet with me and the other Mile High Guys on Sept 30th in Denver and I will teach you how to hone in person for free

Oooooooooh, definitely take Glen up on his offer -- an opportunity to learn from one of the masters should not be missed!
