Finally ordered a set
Well after much thought and tired of putting it off I ordered a set from SRD today. Getting a Dovo 6/8 with 1/2 hollow, 3" red latigo and SRD fabric, figured the grind and blade size are the middle grounds then I'll go from there. If all goes well with this straight I'll send the Joseph Smith and son 3415 I found out to get restored and try it.

It's always preference, but I think you'll like the 6/8. I've went over and under that and I've always seemed to come back to that size. You'll also like your strop. Enjoy them in good health, and good shaves!!

I'll try posting pics when I get it. Might post pics of the Joseph Smith & son and the Bow razor I got at a local antique store just for fun.

Hey congrats! I just started with straights a couple weeks ago now and already have 3 razors and one on order lol. Good luck restraining yourself
And as one noob to another I found that when i set my strop up it is much easier to strop when you attach your strop at waist level, that way you are stropping relatively parallel to the ground. I set my first one up attached at shoulder height and found it to be more difficult to use.
Strop on!
