Thanked: 0Thanks for all of the suggestions/help. I apologize for all of the questions, I can't wait to start now. Thanks for all of the help you guys provide new people. This site is a great resource. It seems that you guys really care about SR and about helping people in general. I also appreciate all the support you provide the military. I noticed a thread where you guys are sending packages over to troops in Afghanistan. From someone who has been to Iraq twice, all the outside support you get makes it worthwhile.
Thanks,
Brian

Thanked: 0Never ever apologize for asking too many questions. It''s the only way to learn properly. Stay curious all of your life and you'll learn every day!
This is one the many life's lessons I've learned over the years.

As promised here's a progress report on how the sting has healed. Each of the following pics were taken about two days apart and as you can see the mark has almost disappeared completely. Another day or two and there won't even be a scar. Like I said, much better than it looked.

Hehe, some of you guys are funny. He's not Blowhard, he's blhoward, like Brian L. Howard.
I'll just say (like everyone else) that the nicks are small, infrequent, and they heal so quickly you won't even have time to get used to them.
And the nicks are well worth switching to a straight. I guess those of us who use straights are a little odd, but I can probably vouch for every single member when I say we all look forward to shaving with our straights.
Shaving went from a chore to a looked foward to daily (or semi-daily for those of us with lighter hair) ritual replete with cool knick-knacks to use.
And, I always get that "job well done" feeling after splashing and drying my face and checking my shave out in the mirror. Oh, and just wait until you start "faceturbating"
Enjoy!

I agree. The brush isn't really all that important as long as you have one. Although I'll be making my own luxury silvertop with stone handle in the near future. (If it all works out)
And faceturbating is amazing. I had an amazing shave 3 hours ago and am still doing it without feeling a single bit of stubble.
