Thanked: 0Need help with information about these Razors please
I received this set of G EBR.EMDE SOLINGEN-WEYER GERMANY (this is what it says on the other side of the blade) straight Razors from my grandfather a long time ago. on one side of the blade in gold writing it says HIGH CLASS KIEBITZ. then further down towards the handle by the birds mouth it has the # 48 and a carving of a little bird then says "KIEBITZ" GARANTIE. Each blade is all the same except each one is labled Monday through Sunday and is still in the red case. any information would be helpful. I was going to try to sell them but have no clue as to the time era or how much they would be worth. Thanks for your help.

Beautiful Set of razors. Dont sell them. Get them honed up and use them. Or Pass them down to a family member that will use them.

Very nice razors but unfortunately for you we don't do valuations here. it's a big no-no.

Most of us will be in envy that you have something so personel and important from a relatvive. Sets like this were often gifts for very special occasions - something you would get to commerate a wedding, graduation, home from the war...
We would no more part with it than we would a Portrait or a Wedding Ring.
