Thanked: 0Hey I've been contemplating on buying a str8 and this seems a perfect opportunity if it's possible to try one. I've just registered, but I'm genuine and I've been shaving with a DE for about 4months. I'm a member of B&B,Shavemyface username: GillSchicKettE - registered at about that time.
Though I've just registered,I've been extensively researching this topic for the last month(You can test me on that), but still feel kind of a unsure to invest money into it.
I'm also in UK,but I am willing to pay international airmail shipping BOTH WAYS!! I would like however that the previous member that will be trying the razor to send it back to Tony for honing.
I would also like to ask if it's possible, I mean just assume everything goes perfect , to purchase the razor with the paddle(I would like to try razor+paddle only) and get refunded the ONE way shipping fee?
Many Thanks,
Tony

Tony,
It's an idea I would need to consider. I have no problem sending it off for you to try out at all, and from my point it is attractive to make a sale and get back my money on this set. BUT, it then takes away the "travelling razor" chance for others who may want to give it a go. Right now I think there are 3 guys on the list before you which makes it end of January or so before you get a shot at it. If the list is gone by then with no new takers I may take you up on it.
Maybe someone closer to home has something you could try or buy inexpensively and if so I could rustle up another strop to offer under the same rules. If you don't like it pass it on and we could have a Euro union Loaner Set.
Take care,

you could do my "try before you buy" thing. I don't have any strops for ya though.
