Thread: Hi Everyone!! I am new to the world of straight razors & looking forsome info

Hi everyone I am new to this forum. My father always used straight razors to shave with. When he passed away I inherited a few of his razors. I was looking at some today and searching looking online to see if I could find any info about some of them.

I am looking for info on these razors....I may post threads looking for info about others that I have as well.

Are you interested in using your razors to shave with? That'd be cool I think. But of course, you might have guessed some would suggest it. It's what most of us here do. lol.

Very cool pics and razors! I hope you use them and carry on your Father's tradition. Do you know if the single razor was used by your Dad earlier or later than the 7 Day set? I was just noticing that the wear on the 7Day set is pretty similar on each razor but different from the Single razor like he was learning/using different honing techniques.

Pretty cool to have a history of the razors you have used and be able to see little things like that.
