Thanked: 375Didn't see anything on the soap your using (sorry if I missed it). That could cause problems too. I've tried a bunch of soaps with no problem until recently, when I tried a different rendition of a brand I've used before and it causes skin irritation. As soon as I stop using it the problem goes away.

Oh, just thought of this too. If you have aggravated your skin a few times it is good to take a break. Let the skin heal back up. I know that might not be possible in your situation due to work. Anyway, it seems like you have gotten a lot of good suggestions from folks.

Thanked: 4It probably is the razor. I used the razors that came with my Merkur HD, and they tore my face up. But I tried Wilkinson Sword blades from Wal-Mart, and problem solved. But on my slant, I can't use any of those blades. You should try lots of different kinds until you find one that shaves nicely. And you will find it. Amazon has some good sample packs as well.
