Just practice, I was on the verge of throwing my expensive Coticule out of the window, thought I'll never master it.. and I did.
And what a wonderful feeling it is when you can maintain your own blades

If you start getting frustrated, get up walk away and come back with a clear head. Frustration and impatience will only cause more problems.
    Havachat45 and KenWeir like this.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Absolutely! If at any point you start feeling impatient or frustrated put it away until the next day. That's the very best tool to use while learning & I've had to make myself put a razor back in the box a few times. I'm still learning, and I still do.
