Yeah, mine was on my most expensive one; when I heard that "dink", you couldn't have gotten a sewing needle up my butt! It's inevitable that you will do it atleast once...hopefully just once.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Thanked: 433Luckily the little tiny ones are fairly easy to hone out, one thing to maybe try is 50 laps on the linen side and see if the scratching of the leather side goes away. This won't fix the tiny ding but might make the blade usable until you can get it honed properly.
