(Ducking slightly as a powerful rush of kharmic energy zooms in your direction...) Knock on wood... QUICK!

Hope it always goes well for you... But, each time I've had an issue has been about 1 nanosecond after thinking along those same lines... Cut my nose, cut my ear, sliced my neck... Nothing bad, just humbling!

Sounds like you are a natural so keep on having fun as it will surely only get better!

    Nice one.
Take it you have been using a shavette prior to this. If so how did you like the real straight ?. Read lots of times how many guys find them dull compared to a shavette but a lot smoother.
Have only ever used a real straight myself but love them so will probably never even try a shavette.

    yup
the straight definitaly dragged/pulled more than a shavette, but weirdly the straight gave a better shave and the sound it makes suprised me

Only times I seem to cut myself are when I'm distracted, or complacent. Loose focus and the razor will remind you who's boss. Oh, and there's the wedge factor. Wedges have no mercy on me. Congrats on the successful shave!
