Back in black
Hi all,
it has been a long time...
I believe about three years since my last post. Quite a few things happened throughout the time that passed by. I graduated from college, got masters degree in chemical engineering and got full time job.
Also got into the sport of bowling.
Since free time got up in it's quantity, I figured out that it is time to get back to straight razors. They are all still at home, waiting to get a retouch and good stropping job and to bring them back to life. I must admit I have been careless, so some of them will need some maintenance before honing.
Nevertheless, I didn't abandon the ways of wet shaving, I just used the DE instead.
I am really thrilled with getting back to straight razors and sharing the stories and experience with wonderful community here at SRP.
The years of absence make me feel like a beginner again...
Cheers,
Robert

Thanked: 485Nice to meet you. I think I read all the Asterix comics when I was a kid...I also liked Tin Tin... :-)
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Yea, how about that! I forgot all about Asterix! I used to read that when I was little in Germany... We moved to the states, but it wasn't big here.

Welcome back from a newbie, I am not to far away in Kosovo. I hope to start Straight Razor Shaving soon, once my kit arrives. Congratulations on earning yourself a masters and a full time job. Some days I wish I had gone to collage... but I chose the Army instead. I used to bowl at one time in my life, the time before I was married. Check out this post from Jock he is in Zagreb also, http://straightrazorpalace.com/membe...r-croatia.html
Aloha,
