    Default Thumbs Up

Well I just completed my 2nd shave. The only nick I got was the tip of my thumb. (I don't know how, just felt a slight touch, very small). Like my dad from Liverpool used to tell me, " keep your wits about ya lad. "I'm still not getting as close of a shave as I would like. I did 20/50 on my strop. I know the razor's edge is good. Guess experience is the best teacher.

Persistence is key, keep at and before you know you'll be getting the shaves you've been waiting for. As you have found out, always be aware of where the blade's edge is, the worst cuts I've managed is on my fingers while switching hands and not paying attention to my razor. Keep us posted on your progress.

Yup, practice makes, well, if not perfect then at least better.

Stick with it, take it slow, and things *will* get better! Also, in addition to keeping track of where your fingers are, keep an eye on the end of that blade. I used to nick my ears all the time.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
