Thanked: 0after pass photos.
Hi All,
just a quick thought - I often see the advice that newbies are trying to take too much stubble off on the first pass. I feel i am guilty of this too.
Just wondering if anybody out there more experienced could take some before/After first pass WTG/ After second pass XTG/ etc?
Know it would help me out if i knew what to aim for and thn we have a handy photo guide to point noobs at in future?

I wonder how useful that would be considering the differences in beards, razors, etc.?
Do you mean that you're trying to shave 'too close' with the first pass? My advice for what it's worth would be not to worry about that at all and focus on pressure and angle. Keep your pressure (i.e. the force with which you're applying steel to face) light, you're angle right, and what comes off will be what comes off. I suspect that every combination of face, hair, razor, prep, brush, etc., will be quite different.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
