First straight shave
Shaved with a straight for the first time tonight. Completely screwed up the lather, 1 cut, probably a lot of exfoliating because my face was on fire until I slapped some aftershave on. All in all good experience can't wait to do it again..... In a couple days.

That doesn't sound to bad for a first attempt, maybe to much pressure or angle if you have lots of burn

Yup, definitely to much pressure and probably some bad angles too. I honestly expected it to be worse so I'm pretty stoked

Congrats!
It gets better. You just need to stick with it and take your time getting to know that face you see in the mirror. My skin has definitely improved since I started using a straight razor.
