They arrived!
My razors just arrived from Larry @ whipped dog. The post took <2wks from the US to Australia!
Just had my first "shave" couldn't stop at just the easy bits and did a rough full pass. Came up about the same as a couple of hours after a cartridge shave so not too bad. And only a few weepers.
I've attached a couple of pics, there might be nicer razors out there but these 2 are mine.
Haven't uploaded with taptalk before hope it works.

So this morning I followed Lynn's tip and only shaved the right hand side of my face from side burn to jawline with a straight then finished with my usual razor. My wife could pick the straight side as smoother :-)

Larry is an awesome guy, and does put a nice edge on a razor to boot. Bad news though...you're hooked! Your wife likes it now, but when you have a closet full of creams, soaps, after shaves, razors, and weird rocks...well I'll let your imagination take over from there. 
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
