Default Really dumb mistake, messed up my razors edge

So I received my razor yesterday, and while showing it off to my family I did the unthinkable and bumped the razors edge into a wood surface. Now I can feel the imperfection in my once perfect edge. Do I need to get this re-honed or can stropping fix the blade?

Just be happy that you got "that first mishap" out of the way. We all have moments like that...the trick is to try and not have a "next mishap"

It sucks...at least it didn't involve flesh and blood

Send her out...there are lots of great guys here that can hone/repair it for you

Its totally understandable your new & excited I can certainly understand.
Its a wonder it doesnt happen to all of us everyday. Really talk about leading with your jaw, those cutting edges sometimes asking to get clanked against the side of the tap, or something as innocent as closing the blade and it catches the side of the scales cause there a little warped. Been there done that.
    Dont get discouraged my friend.

I see you are in NYC. I'm just over the bridge in NJ.

I'd be bappy to take a look at your razor and rehone if necessary.
