    Default Ebay Razor

    Hi

I've recently bought a few cheap razors off ebay, all of which are in very good condition, to learn/practice honing skills.

One of my ebay razors is marked J A Henkels, and I have seen this name mentioned on the site a few times. Is this razor a good brand (for want of a better word) that I should keep for when I am better at honing, or is it just 'honing fodder' like the other ebay razors i've bought?

They're terrible. Not even good for practice. Send it to me and I'll get rid of it for you.

If it's in good nick then put it aside until your better at honing. Henkels are certainly a good brand.

    Thanks for that.

I didn't pay very much for it or the others - a few pounds each.
    The other two are marked:

    Kropp
    H Bocker & Co

    Typo - its Boker.

    I've been lucky then.

I'll have buy a couple more to practice on, and leave those two to one side for now.

    Thanks for your advice.

I've had 3 Kropps, and they've been uniformly excellent, as well.
